GINGER SNAPS 
3/4 c. shortening or butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and molasses. Add flour sifted with salt, soda, ginger and cinnamon. Make cookies and roll them in granulated sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
