LEMON BREAD 
1 1/2 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 1/8 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. milk
2 1/2 tsp. lemon rind
1 1/4 c. finely chopped walnuts

Bake in greased and floured loaf pans. Makes 2 large, 6 small. Bake at 350 degrees.

GLAZE:

2 1/2 lemons, juiced
3/4 c. sugar

Mix together and set aside.

Remove lemon breads from oven and glaze with lemon juice mixture. Cool in pans.
