TWINKIE CAKE 
Make a yellow cake mix; before pouring batter in 9 x 13 inch pan, grease the pan and lay a piece of wax paper in bottom of pan. Sprinkle flour over waxed paper. After cake is baked and cooled, slice in half lengthwise by running thread through the middle. Take top half off carefully and spread filling on bottom half. Replace top layer and store in refrigerator.

FILLING:

1 c. water
5 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla

Cook water and flour until thick, stirring constantly. Cool mixture, then add rest of ingredients. Beat until fluffy and creamy.
