1 chocolate cake mix or yellow cake mix
5 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. Crisco

Mix and bake cake as directed. Cook over low heat until thick, flour and milk. Set aside to cool. Beat together sugar, salt, Crisco, butter, and vanilla. Add flour and milk mixture. Beat for several minutes, the longer you beat it, the fluffier it will get. Slice cooled cake in half lengthwise and fill with cream. Place top layer back on top of filling.
