HUMMUS 
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 (14 oz.) can chick peas, drained and rinsed
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. parsley (fresh chopped)
Pita bread torn in pieces and warmed

Toast sesame seeds over low heat until golden brown. In a blender, puree toasted sesame seeds, garlic, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup of oil until smooth. Add chick peas alternately with lemon juice and oil. Process until smooth. Stir in parsley. Serve with warm pita bread. Makes 2 cups.
