AUNT MARY'S BARBECUED SPARE RIBS 
3 lb. spare ribs
1 bottle ketchup
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 1/4 c. water
3 cloves garlic, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
3/4 c. vinegar
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. chili powder
1 lg. onion, chopped

Brown spareribs on top of stove. Place ribs in a large baking pan. Make a sauce out of the remaining ingredients using everything but the onions. Place the onions on the ribs in the baking pan and pour sauce over them. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 1 hour or until tender. Baste 3 times during baking. Serve spareribs on a platter of hot rice and the barbecue sauce in a bowl or gravy boat. Serves 4.
