NO SHORTENING PINEAPPLE CAKE 
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped nuts
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple with juice, undrained

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together flour and sugar in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into ungreased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake for 45-560 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool and frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz.)
1 stick butter (4 oz.)
1 1/2 c. 10X sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix until smooth all the ingredients. Spread on cooled cake.
