OVEN-CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
6 med. sweet potatoes, cooked and peeled
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
2 tbsp. water
1/4 c. brown sugar

In a saucepan over medium heat melt butter. Stir in corn syrup, water and brown sugar.

Cut potatoes in half lengthwise. Dip in corn syrup mixture to coat all sides. Place in 13x9 pan. Pour remaining syrup over top. Bake at 325 degrees until tender and glazed, about 1 hour. Baste occasionally.
