CHICKEN AND RICE CASSEROLE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 soup can of water
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
1 can mushrooms (opt.)
1 lg. fryer, cut up
Butter
Salt & pepper

Use large (shallow) baking dish, well buttered. Cover bottom of dish with rice. Mix the cans of soup and Lipton onion soup mix with the water. Pour over rice. Mix rice and soups well. Dip chicken pieces in melted butter and salt and pepper. Arrange on top of rice and soup mixture. Bake at 250 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

If you need to use 2 fryers add an extra 1/2 cup of uncooked rice, 1 can of cream of celery soup and 1/2 can of water.
