ALMOND BARS 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. almond paste
1 tbsp. almond extract
2 c. flour
1 egg yolk

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk and mix well. Add almond paste and extract at low speed. Add flour and press into 7"x11"x2" pan. Beat egg white until frothy and brush top and cover with sliced almonds. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
