ALMOND BARS 
1 can (8 oz.) almond paste
1 c. butter

Cream. Add 1 cup sugar and 2 eggs and mix. Add 2 cups flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix and spread. Sprinkle with shaved almonds before baking into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Drizzle with frosting made from powdered sugar, milk and almond extract.
