MARASCHINO CHERRY PECAN BREAD 
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chopped maraschino cherries
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and beat well. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt and add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Add pecans, cherries and vanilla. Bake in greased and floured loaf pan at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes.
