WHITE CREAM COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
3 1/2-4 c. flour

Mix all together. Add flour only so will handle easily; cool well. Roll out, use cookie cutter. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown on edges.

An old recipe from grandmother very tender. Be sure to use butter for flavor. Mother still uses old round cookie cutter at least 70 years old. Makes 3 dozen.
