IMPERIAL SAUCE 
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. green pepper
2 tbsp. celery, minced
1/2 tsp. powdered garlic
1 1/2 tbsp. Tabasco sauce
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1 c. pimiento, minced, drained
1 c. creole mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. green onion tops, minced

Melt butter in a large kettle. Add onions, green pepper, celery, green onions, pepper, garlic powder, salt and parsley. Saute 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add mayonnaise, pimiento, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce. Serve hot or cold. Good with seafood, hot sandwiches, etc. Yield: 2 cups.
