OVEN CHICKEN | |
1 broiler-fryer cut in 10 pieces 2 tbsp. each olive oil, white wine vinegar 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1 c. Bisquick mix 1 tsp. each salt, paprika, pepper 1/4 tsp. each white pepper, celery salt 1/4 c. each shortening and butter Wash and dry chicken. Marinate chicken 1/2 hour in mixture of oil, vinegar, garlic salt; drain. Coat chicken in a mixture of the Bisquick mix, salt, pepper, paprika, and celery salt. Melt shortening and butter in a 9x13 baking dish in hot oven (425 degrees). Arrange chicken in dish. Bake in hot oven until tender, about 1 hour. Yield 4 servings. |
