1 lb. ground beef, venison, or turkey
1/2 diced small onion
2 diced medium carrots
2 diced pieces of bread
2 eggs
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce (Hunts), divided
seasonings of choice

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In large mixing bowl add ground meat, onion, carrots, bread, eggs and 1/2 can tomato sauce. Then add seasonings (I use garlic powder, pepper, salt, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce).

Mix everything well and place in a lightly greased loaf pan. Pour remainder of the tomato sauce on top of the casserole.

Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 60 to 90 minutes.

Serves 6.
