1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. sweet milk
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. heaping flour
1 tbsp. butter
3 eggs, separated

Mix together dry ingredients. Add enough milk to beat; add eggs and beat in the rest of milk. Cook in double-boiler until thick. Add vanilla. Pour into 1 deep or 2 shallow pie crusts. Beat egg whites with 1/2 cup sugar, dash of salt and 1 teaspoon vanilla for topping.
