CHRISTMAS SALAD 
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1 c. boiling water
2/3 c. red hots
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello

FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. salad dressing

Put red hots in boiling water then add to Jello; mix in applesauce. Put 1/2 in bottom of 8 x 8 inch pan. Set to solid. Spread cream cheese mixture on Jello. Add partly set Jello on top. Serves 9.
