SAUSAGE GRAVY & BISCUITS | |
1 lb. crumbled cooked bulk sausage (sage flavored works best) 1 (23 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (family size) 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (or more, to taste) salt and pepper, to taste milk, to wanted consistency freshly baked biscuits (homemade or Pillsbury) Mix all ingredients except sausage in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly so that it doesn't scorch. Add sausage after all is thoroughly mixed together. Let simmer for about 20 minutes to let flavors blend. Note: If there is too much of a mushroom taste to it... add more milk or seasonings until it's to your liking! Serve hot over biscuits! Submitted by: Missy |
