HOT CLAM DIP | |
2 cans minced clams 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 c. butter 1 med. chopped onion 1/2 green pepper, chopped 1 garlic clove, chopped 1 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. hot pepper 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1 tbsp. parsley, chopped Parmesan cheese, grated Paprika Sm. flat baking dish Mix clams and their own juice with lemon juice in saucepan. Boil and let simmer for 15 minutes. In another pan, saute 1/4 cup butter with onions, garlic and green pepper. Add parsley, oregano and hot pepper. When tender, remove from heat and add bread crumbs. Add clams and pour into flat baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika and Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with crackers or small bread slices. |
