HOT CLAM DIP 
1 stick butter
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. parsley
1 med. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
4 dashes Tabasco sauce
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. bread crumbs
2 cans minced clams (drain & save juice)
American cheese slices
Parmesan cheese

Melt butter in frying pan. Add onion and garlic and saute. Add oregano and parsley and saute. Add Tabasco sauce, bread crumbs and clams. Add lemon juice and clam juice until desired consistency. Spread in a baking dish or pie plate. Cover with American cheese. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Spread on Triscuits.

Followed this closely, but skipped the American cheese. Used garlic paste instead of fresh garlic. The dip was easy and delicious! The whole crowd raved :-)
