MEXICAN BREAD 
1 c. oil
1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 sm.. onion, chopped
1 c. buttermilk
1 can cream style corn
2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 lb. grated cheese
2 eggs, well beaten
Sm. can diced pimento

Mix all ingredients. Bake in heavy skillet at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
