NEW ORLEANS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. oil
1 c. water
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour, sugar and spices. Add soda to baking powder. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour into prepared sheet cake pan or 9 x 13 pan. Bake about 25 minutes at 375 degrees.

FROSTING:

Boil 1/2 cup butter, 4 tablespoon cocoa, 6 tablespoon milk, add 1 lb. powdered sugar, 1 cup chopped pecans, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Frost warm cake.
