GRANOLA 
6 c. oatmeal
2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. canola oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. wheat flakes cereal
2 c. coconut
1 c. honey or light corn syrup

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Combine oatmeal, cereal, meats and coconut into very large bowl. Mix together oil, vanilla, honey or corn syrup. Add oil mixture to cereal mixture, mixing well. Spread 1/2 inch deep into jelly roll pan. Bake about 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until toasted and golden. Remove from oven; cool. Add raisins, chocolate chips or dried fruits, if desired.
