PAPA'S FAVORITE PUMPKIN PIE 
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar (packed)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4-1 tsp. ginger
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/3 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. water
1 (9 inch) pastry shell (unbaked) or 2 sm. ones

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix above ingredients and pour into pastry shell. Bake for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted 1/2 way between center and outer edge comes out clean. Cool and serve with Cool Whip if desired.
