DAY BEFORE - BREAKFAST LASAGNA 
8 slices thinly sliced sandwich bread (Arnold's Pepperidge Farm)
1 1/2 - 2 c. chopped ham
1 1/2 c. grated cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack or Swiss)
7-8 eggs
1/2 c. milk
Salt and pepper
Butter, softened
Dash hot pepper sauce (optional)
Paprika

Beat eggs with milk, salt, pepper and hot sauce.

Lightly butter bread on one side. Place 4 slices, buttered side down, in 8x8 baking pan. Top with ham and 1/2 the cheese. Top with remaining 4 slices, buttered side up.

Pour egg mixture over bread. Top with remaining cheese. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover pan with foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake covered at 350 degrees F. approximately 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 5-10 minutes longer. Center should be slightly soft. Test with knife. Do not overcook. Remove from oven. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut into serving pieces. 6-8 servings.
