BARBECUED SPARE RIBS 
1 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. white sugar
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. water

Mix together.

1 chopped onion
3 1/2 to 4 lb. fresh pork spareribs

Place 3 1/2 to 4 pounds fresh pork spareribs meaty sides up on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Roast uncovered in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Drain off fat. Put chopped onion and barbecue sauce on ribs. Cook covered until ribs are done (approximately 45 minutes). Serves 5.
