LEMON POUND CAKE 
3 c. plain flour
2 1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
5 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. lemon extract

Mix dry ingredients. Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, beating well. Add flour slowly with milk. Add lemon extract last. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees.
