LEMON POUND CAKE 
1 stick butter
3 sticks whipped butter
5 eggs
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour (plain) Red Band
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix with mixer.

Fold cream in last. Do not beat with mixer. Start in cold oven, 325 degrees, 1 1/2 hours.

ICING:

3 oz. pkg. cream cheese (use 1/2 of cheese)
1/2 stick butter
1 c. confectioners' sugar

Cream cheese and butter, add sugar. Use pure lemon juice to thin out. Pour on hot cake. Have topping sort of thick.
