KRAFT CHOCOLATE SQUARES 
40 caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips

Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in double boiler (microwave works good) and set aside. Stir together cake mix, 3/4 cup melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts. Put half of mixture in 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top, then spread caramel mixture over this. Drop reserved cake mixture on top and bake 15-18 minutes more. Cool at room temperature then refrigerate before cutting.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
