CHEESECAKE DIAMOND BARS 
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. sifted flour
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. white sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk

Cream butter and brown sugar, add flour and nuts and mix well. Set aside 1 cup of this mixture for topping. Press remainder into the bottom of an 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Blend sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Beat well. Spread over crust and sprinkle with reserved topping. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Chill and cut into diamonds.
