PUMPKIN PATCH PIE 
Great idea for a Halloween party!

2 cups orange sherbet, softened
1 (8 oz.) tub Cool Whip, thawed & divided
1 (9-inch) prepared Oreo pie crust
9 Oreo cookies, chopped

Place sherbet in bowl; stir until smooth. Stir in 1/2 of the Cool Whip until well blended. Spoon into crust. Sprinkle with chopped Oreo cookies, pressing firmly into sherbet. Cover with remaining Cool Whip. Freeze 4 hours or until firm.

Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes before serving.

Garnish with additional finely chopped Oreo cookies and candy pumpkins, if desired. Store leftover pie in freezer.

Makes 8 servings.

I love pumpkin pie! This recipe is easy to make and it's a great way to use up your Oreo cookies. The Cool Whip makes it extra creamy which I love. The sherbet also adds a nice flavor to the pie, but you can always add any other flavor that you want. This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled if you need more pumpkin pie. My family and friends love this pie! If you're not into Oreo cookies, you could substitute any cookie of your choice.
