CRUCIFEROUS COLLECTION 
1/2 head broccoli
1/2 head cauliflower
12 small brussels sprouts
1/2 yellow bell pepper, slivered
1 tsp. sesame oil
2 tsp. safflower oil
1 tsp. grated fresh ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
2 tsp. rice vinegar
Toasted sesame seeds

Steam broccoli, cauliflower and halved brussels sprouts until barely tender, still deep colored. Arrange attractively in a large round casserole; garnish with pepper slivers. Combine oils with ginger, garlic and mustard; mull well.

Add vinegar, and marinate 2 hours. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve cold with a bowl of salad greens and additional dressing on the side. Or cover with plastic wrap and microwave 3 to 4 minutes or until heated well. Serves 8.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
