BARBEQUE RIBS 
3-4 lbs. spare ribs or country ribs
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 lg. onion
1 c. catsup
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
1 c. water

Place ribs in shallow roasting pan, meaty side up. Drizzle lemon juice over meat. Cover with slices of onion. Bake in hot oven 450 degrees for 30 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients, bring to boil and pour over ribs. Continue baking until tender, 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees. Baste ribs with sauce every 15 minutes. If sauce gets too thick, add more water.
