MIDWAY HOT DOG SAUCE 
2 lbs. ground chuck
1 tsp. salt
1 lg. onion, chopped
7 c. water
2 (29 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
3 tsp. Old Bay seasonings
1 tsp. vinegar
4 beef bouillon cubes
1 1/4 tsp. oregano

Cook over medium heat 1 to 2 hours. Brown meat, onions, salt and spices. Add tomato sauce and water, stir often. Mix in:

1 can evaporated milk
1 c. water
16 tbsp. cornstarch

Cook until clear. Makes 1 gallon sauce, can be frozen.
