GRANDMA WILLIS' COLD HOMEMADE SOAP | |
1 can lye 2 1/2 pts. cold water 5 1/2 lbs. clean grease or Tallow Dissolve lye in the water in granite pan and set aside until temperature is not over 80 degrees. Melt the grease and cool. Slowly pour dissolved lye into the grease, stir until thoroughly combined. Pour into old pan and cut into bars at once. |
