SOUR CREAM NOODLE BAKE (A MISS
HULLINGS RECIPE)
 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles, medium size
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. tomato sauce
1 c. sour cream
1 c. cottage cheese
1 c. chopped green onion
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Cook noodles in salt water, rinse in cold water, drain. Brown meat in butter, add salt, pepper, garlic and tomato sauce. Let simmer 5 minutes. Combine sour cream, cottage cheese, onions and noodles. Alternate layer of noodle mixture and meat mixture in a 2 quart casserole beginning with noodle and ending with meat. Top with cheese. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and browned.
