RED ITALIAN HOUSE DRESSING 
A vibrant and zesty restaurant-style dressing

1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1 cup Heinz chili sauce
1/4 cup tomato paste
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Italian seasoning

Combine oil and vinegar.

Add the chili sauce and tomato paste and whisk together.

Add the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Whisk until everything is combined well.

Pour into a mason jar and store in the refrigerator.

It's wonderful over a salad of Romaine lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes, red onion, ripe olives, pepperoncini, croutons, and shredded Italian-blend cheese. Finish with a sprinkling of fresh-ground black pepper.

This dressing is a must-try for any Italian food lover. I made it the other night and paired it with my homemade spaghetti and meatballs. It was just perfect! The flavors blended together beautifully and the vinegar brought out the best of the cheese and sauce. Next time, I'm going to add some fresh basil and oregano for an even more complex flavor profile.
