APPLE MYSTERY DELIGHT 
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
3-4 cups apples, Sliced and unpeeled
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 box yellow cake mix, butter recipe
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans

Lightly grease and 8x12 baking dish. Pour pineapple into dish. In a bowl mix apples, 1/4 cup of sugar and lemon juice. Lay on top of pineapple. Sprinkle with cake mix. Top with melted butter, remaining sugar and pecans.

Bake 20 minutes at 350°F. Take out and cut into squares, bake an additional 30 minutes. May be served warm topped with vanilla ice cream.
