1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (22 oz.) can apple pie filling
1 (18 1/2 oz.) box yellow cake mix
3/4 lb. butter
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Pour pineapple in well buttered baking pan, 13"x9"x2". Layer apple pie filling evenly on top of pineapple. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over apple-pineapple. Slice butter in small pieces and spread over cake mix. Sprinkle walnuts over butter slices. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes. This is a no work dessert. May bee served warm and topped with whipped cream but it is just as good served cold.
