FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
2 c. dates, chopped
1/2 lb. candied cherries, chopped
1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
1/2 lb. walnuts, chopped
2 c. pecans, chopped
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs

Mix flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon together. Then take 1/2 cup of flour mixture and roll fruit and nuts into flour mixture. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add flour mixture, dates, nuts and fruit; mix well.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Place cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
