ASPARAGUS CASSEROLE | |
1 lg. can asparagus tips 1 stick butter 1/2 lb. grated cheese (mild or cheddar) 2 c. cracker crumbs 4 hard-boiled eggs 1 can cream of mushroom soup Grate cheese and mix well with cracker crumbs. Add liquid from asparagus to mushroom soup (heat liquid and soup just enough to mix well). Put a layer of crumbs and cheese in bottom of greased casserole, then layer of asparagus, layer of sliced eggs, layer of soup mixture. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, drizzle melted butter between each layer and on top. Be sure to finish with crumbs and cheese as top layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. |
