BROCCOLI - BACON SALAD 
1 bunch broccoli, about 3 stalks
1 sm. red onion, thinly sliced
12 strips bacon, crisply fried
1 c. whole roasted sunflower seeds
1/2 c. raisins

Completely chop broccoli. If using a food processor, cut up the flowerettes by hand so they don't get smaller than bite size. Add onion slices. Crumble in bacon and add sunflower seeds and raisins.

DRESSING:

1 c. mayonnaise, light or regular
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar

For the dressing, combine mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar. Mix with wire whisk until sugar is dissolved. Add to vegetables and toss. Makes 12 servings.
