SAUSAGE STUFFED ACORN SQUASH 
3 acorn squash
Melted buter
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 lb. sausage
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/3 c. chopped onion
3/4 lb. ground meat
Buttered bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. sugar

Preheat oven to 400. Cut squash in half, and remove the seeds. Brush with butter and season with salt and pepper. Bake the squash with cut sides down for 45 minutes.

While squash is baking, brown the beef, sausage, onion and celery in skillet. Add soup and cook until heated. Remove squash from oven and fill with meat mixture. Cover with the bread crumbs. Sprinkle the tops with sugar. Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven and serve.
