GINGER SNAPS | |
1 cup granulated sugar 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 cup brown sugar 1 tbsp. ginger 1 cup shortening 1 tbsp. baking soda 1 cup molasses 1 tbsp. salt 2 well beaten eggs 5 cups flour 1 tbsp. vinegar Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, then remaining ingredients. Work with hands, if necessary. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on an oiled cookie sheet. Bake at 375°F 10 - 12 minutes. |
