SNICKERDOODLES 
1/2 c. softened butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix first 4 ingredients. Blend in flour and cream of tartar. Shape dough by teaspoons into balls. Roll balls in sugar-cinnamon mix. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.

IF you really made them into TSP balls, you might get 6 dozen cookies. I used my most small Pampered Chef scoop and got a little over 4 dozen. They are yummy!
