SNICKERDOODLES 
2 c. butter
3 c. sugar
4 eggs, just add
5 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar

Cream butter, sugar and eggs; beat well. Add flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Shape in 1 inch balls. Roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, 350 F. Yields 60 servings.

I usually make this cookie every Christmas. Very, very good cookie. This dough should be chilled before making into balls to bake.
