OVERNIGHT FRENCH TOAST 
4 eggs
2/3 cup orange juice
1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup melted butter
sliced almonds
thick-sliced French bread (enough to fill a jelly roll pan)

Pour melted butter in the jelly roll pan. Arrange bread slices over the butter. Whisk together the orange juice, milk, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla. Pour evenly over the bread slices. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

In the morning, sprinkle with almonds and bake at 400°F until golden brown -- about 25 minutes.

Serve with butter and syrup.
