BAKED FRENCH TOAST | |
10 slices cinnamon bread (I use Pepperidge Farm) 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup maple syrup 6 large eggs 1 1/2 cups milk 1 tsp. vanilla Melt butter, brown sugar and maple syrup in the bottom of an 11x17-inch pan. Cook until mixture is well-blended and dissolved; about 5 minutes. Put pairs of bread into the mixture. Mix eggs, milk and vanilla; pour over the bread. Let sit 45 minutes or overnight in refrigerator. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Submitted by: Erin |
