SOUTHWESTERN BEAN SOUP WITH
CORNMEAL DUMPLINGS
 
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained & rinsed
1 (15 oz.) can black beans, pinto beans or Northern beans
3 c. water
1 (14 1/2 oz.) Mexican style stewed tomatoes
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen corn, thawed
2 med. carrots, sliced
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
2 tbsp. instant beef or chicken bouillon granules
1-2 tsp. chili powder
2 cloves garlic, minced

In crock pot combine canned beans, water, tomatoes, corn, carrots, onion, undrained chili peppers, bouillon granules, chili powder and garlic. Cover and cook on low setting for 10-12 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
